KHCS has built up a highly recognised reputation providing various services for our private clients who wish to purchase commercial or residential properties in the UK for personal or investment purposes, through a UK or offshore company, held through a Trust if thought appropriate. We will look at each client’s circumstances individually to ensure that the correct vehicle is utilized for holding the asset and deal with the company’s incorporation if applicable. We specialize particularly in assisting non UK domiciled or non resident persons.

These include:

  • Search and acquisition; we will liaise with our existing contacts to find the exact property to meet our client’s requirements. This may be for UK headquarters in London or around the UK, an existing hotel, commercial or residential properties, or finding a development project.

  • Establishment of the holding company in the appropriate jurisdiction;

  • Coordinating legal services; we will engage a solicitor who is part of our large team of professionals to oversee the purchase or lease and to bring all matters to a smooth and satisfactory completion.

  • Arranging bank facilities; we will introduce our client to well-reputed banking institutions in order to assist with the purchase financing on the best possible terms. We will then liaise with the bank to ensure the financing goes through smoothly, dealing with all the required paperwork and associated matters.

  • Rental property management; once the purchase has completed, we will assist with finding tenants and thereafter deal with all the formal management aspects from running the bank account, arranging insurance, collecting rents, to liaising with the tenants, paying of bills, arranging repairs and general maintenance issues.

  • General management; for our non UK based clients, we will provide an ongoing presence to ensure that after their purchase concludes, we continue to oversee their investments.

  • Accounting; for those non UK clients holding their rental property through a non resident company, we will ensure that the company is registered under the Non Resident Landlord Scheme with HMRC, and at the end of the tax year, prepare the NRLS accounts for filing with HMRC.
